Steps we are taking to ensure your safety

Dear Hockey Family

We are writing to remind and reassure you of the many steps we are taking to keep all our customers and our team safe. In these challenging times we also wanted to thank you for your loyalty to Puck Stop and for your support for our team members. We very much appreciate it.

Keeping everyone safe in our store

Over the past six months we have worked hard to adapt our store and processes to make them safe for you to shop in and for our colleagues to work in. Since March we have had strict social distancing rules and cleaning processes in place in our web department, warehouse and in store.

We have installed perspex safety screens at checkout, we have installed hand sanitising stations at the entrance of the store and throughout to ensure easy access.  We continue to operate with a monitored capacity in store, one on one shopping with our team, and a socially distanced zone system in store.

These measures mean that we are well prepared to ensure that everyone has safe access to hockey gear however they choose to shop with us.

Changes following recent government guidance

Very little has changed since the recent announcements. Our team will continue to wear face coverings when they are assisting you on the shop floor and not behind a safety screen. When providing a closer fitting service for items such as skates and helmets, they will also wear a protective visor.

We continue to ask all our customers to respect our request to wear a face covering when shopping with us – this benefits both you and our team, making sure everyone feels safe in our stores. Many thanks to all of you who have complied thus far!

We have posters and floor markings in store reminding you to wear a mask and to keep a safe distance from other customers and our team.

If you do not have a face covering when you arrive at a store, our colleagues will help you find one. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Supporting each other

I hope you will agree that our team have been working really hard over recent months to look after you and all our customers.

The feedback we have received thus far has been very encouraging. We thought we'd include one of our most recent testimonials received via email as an example.

Testimonial

We have worked hard to listen and respond to your feedback throughout the pandemic so far and we remain very committed to listen and adapt to all your comments and suggestions. Please get in contact if there is something we can do to improve our service for you.

We have recently signed up for the NHS COVID-19 contact tracing app service. If you would like to check in, please find our QR code below.

I know this is an uncertain time and things are changing quickly in wider society and the Hockey landscape. We will continue to do everything we can to provide information and levity on our social media channels as best we can.

Yours in Hockey,

The Puck Stop Team
